Yes! Students of the ten Maricopa Community Colleges have reciprocal borrowing privileges (except for Reserve material). You can use the "Place Hold" button in the library catalog to request items be sent to your preferred MCCCD pickup library or you can visit the library in person to check out the book.

If you want to go to the lending library in person to check out a book, please call the MCCCD lending library prior to visiting to make sure the item you want is available, to verify the library hours, and to inquire about the proper identification you will need to check out items.

Intra-District Loan (IDL):

IDL is ordering materials from other MCCCD Libraries. Use the "All Maricopa Community" online catalog search to locate materials at other campus libraries and then use the "Place Hold" to request items. It typically takes 3-5 business days for an item to be sent from library to library.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL):

ILL is ordering materials from non-MCCCD Libraries. The purpose of Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Service is to obtain, whenever possible, materials (typically books and articles) not available in the Chandler-Gilbert Community College Library collection for the educational and research needs of the college community. Allow a minimum of a few days to receive articles and a minimum of 2 to 6 weeks for books. This service is free for most requests, although some libraries may impose fees. To start the interlibrary loan process, go to https://maricopa.illiad.oclc.org/illiad/ and start with the "First Time Users " link.
