CGCC offers free Wireless Internet access to all registered students. Wireless network access instructions:  CGCC students and employees can sign in to the college's wireless network using their MEID. Previous MAC address registration is no longer required. Sign in to the secured network, mcccd-org with your MEID or if you are a visitor on campus, use the guest network. Specific instructions for connecting to the wireless network from your mobile device or laptop are available below.

Android

  1. Click on the Wi-Fi icon in the bottom right of the taskbar.
  2. Click on the ‘maricopa’ Wi-Fi and connect. It does not require a password as it is a guest Wi-Fi.
  3. Open up a web browser and the policy page should appear and you just need to click on “Continue to the Internet” to have network access.

Chromebook

  1. Have the Chrome browser open.
  2. Click on the Wi-Fi icon in the bottom right of the taskbar.
  3. Click on the ‘maricopa’ Wi-Fi and connect. It does not require a password as it is a guest Wi-Fi.
  4. Go back to the Chrome browser, then click on the Chrome OS notification bubble that says, "The Wi-Fi network you are using...may require you to visit its login page".
  5. You will then see a page pop up about the user policy. Click on "Continue to Internet" to get connected.

IOS

  1. Go to the settings app.
  2. Select Wi-Fi on the left.
  3. Choose the ‘maricopa’ Wi-Fi to connect.
  4. You will be redirected to a user policy page and will need to accept by clicking on “Continue to the Internet”

Mac

  1. Click on the Wi-Fi icon on the menu bar in the top left.
  2. Click on the ‘maricopa’ Wi-Fi to connect.
  3. After connecting, you will see a pop up about the user policy. Click on “Continue to Internet”.

Windows
