Technical Help & Respondus

  • If you experience problems with your borrowed laptop, please return it to the appropriate desk. You will be given another laptop, if available.
  • Technical Support and Software Application questions may be directed to MCC Helpcenter.
  • If you need to take a test using the Respondus Lockdown Browser on a Chromebook, the computer needs to be put in Kiosk mode:
  1. Send an email to respondus@mesacc.edu that includes: a) the date and time you wish to take the test; and, b) the 6-digit tag number on the bottom of the computer.
  2. When the machine asks for your institution when in Respondus, type Maricopa Community Colleges.
  3. When done taking the test, email respondus@mesacc.edu again so Kiosk mode can be turned off and you can go back to using the computer like normal.
