The Buxton Library @ PVCC asks that all materials be brought back in a timely manner so that fellow patrons may have fair access to them. To ensure that items are brought back in a timely manner, the library has instituted the following Circulation policies. Please refer to the Maricopa Libraries borrowing guidelines for more information.
Returning Materials: All materials can be returned directly to the library. Books may also be dropped into the Book Drop located outside in front of A building or the Book Drop located in the E-Building hallway directly outside the library. Please do not put media (CDs, DVDs, etc.) in Book Drops.
Overdue Notices: An e-mail account will be generated when you get your ID card. This e-mail will be used to notify you of overdue items. Failure to receive an overdue notice, for whatever reason, does not remove or negate your responsibility for meeting the due date or paying subsequent fines. Until all fees are paid, a hold will be placed on your patron record and your Library privileges will be suspended.
Reserve Materials: Many instructors put items on RESERVE in the Library and are located at the Circulation Desk. These items are intended for the entire class to use and may include books, videos, or other formats. ONLY students may check out reserves. A PVCC ID is required to check out Reserve items.
