Can I place a hold on a book?

Yes! To place holds on materials, use the "Place Hold" button in the library catalog. You can choose to pick up the book at any Maricopa Community College. 

You can place a hold on a library book and choose a location to pick it up.

1. In the library catalog, click on the blue Place Hold button on the right side.
2. Then enter your MEID and password. 
3. Then select an available pickup location from the list. Please note, not all libraries are available as pickup locations. 

The screenshots below show the steps to place a hold. You will receive an email when your book is ready to be picked up.
